the throws of winter
The Throws of Winter is a conceptual story told through handmade crochet creations by me. In collaboration with analogue photographer, John Moran, the Throws of Winter is an exploration of femininity in crochet experimentation. Blog coming soon.

intro:
fashion exhibit & runway show

INTRO is a fashion exhibit and runway event showcasing the works of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Fashion students from years one to three. Previously, INTRO only showcased first year designs of the Daywear Day project, but as the Art Director in my first year of INTRO, I decided to also showcase works from both Fashion Communications and Fashion Design students leading up to our final year, creating a platform for those who may not be able to do so before Mass Exodus. In my first year, we exhibited over 100 communications pieces from photography, graphic design, illustrations, and more, and presented over 60 garments throughout two runway shows. As this was the first year something at this caliber was planned and executed, we had a turnout of over 300 guests which included students, industry professionals, friends, and family.
In my second year as the Art Director, I also became the Co-Producer, alongside a total team of five. We continued with the same exhibit and runway execution to provide a platform for TMU Fashion students. We received about 50 garments and over 100 communication works including illustrations, graphic design, photography, and more. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we had to cancel INTRO 2020 on the day of the event, but we had planned for about 200 guests, plus our models and volunteers.
